Always near the top at any Lake Powell event Johnny Parks and Home Pirkey accept 2nd place and big fish honors. The team reported that fishing jigs in shallow water was the key to a great day fishing on Lake Powell!
Ed Cummings and alternate team partner Bill Bjork 1st place 16.85 lbs. Even with cool water and air temps Bill and Ed were able to bring in the winning bag throwing hard plastics baits.
Early morning was pretty dog gone Cold!
Johnny Parks shows off 2 of the bass that helped him and team partner Homer Pirkey to a 2nd place finish. They also had big fish of the day with a 5.04 pounder pitcherd on the left.
Ron Colby and Don Elwood 3rd place with 15.55 lbs.
